In the past few years, over a dozen tasting rooms have opened in downtown Carmel, all within a few blocks of the cottages. If you feel like exploring a bit more, You can head to Carmel valley - about 30 minutes away - and sip wine among the vineyards while gazing out at the Santa Lucia mountain range.
